This is a magnificent opportunity for the pupils. They will have the chance not only to experience what others have not, but most importantly they will have the opportunity to perform at the Royal Albert Hall.

We were given the dance style Argentine Tango, this was an incredible opportunity for both students and staff as it was a brand new experience.

It is an amazing chance for the pupils to take part in such an exciting event. When they were told that they had a project to take part in they were unaware as to the extent of what that meant. They were told to research the Royal Albert Hall, find out its location and more importantly the size of the stage and the building’s architecture.

It began with Heather coming into the school every Monday for one hour and this was extended to late evening rehearsals on Fridays that were timed from 4–7pm. Having these extended rehearsals meant the pupils were able to recap and learn new material in a more effective way and thanks go to Heather Gladding, our Dance Artist.
